Crescent City Insights provides engineering and analytical services to government and industry. Founded in 2025, the company is an extension of my 30 years’ experience developing scientific systems for aviation and space applications including the Hubble Space Telescope, the International Space Station and the soon-to-launch Roman Space Telescope. My experience has covered the entire project lifecycle from concept development through assembly, integration test and operations. I strongly believe in utilizing all available information and data to optimize designs, test strategies, operating concepts ultimately leading to the best possible system performance at the lowest cost. My areas of expertise include:
- Systems engineering including architecture studies, requirements development and verification planning
- Data analysis for a full range of applications including system modelling, scientific instrument performance, precision alignments and system optimization
- Comprehensive integration and test support from test plan development to on-orbit operations
- Project management support including cost and schedule budget development and project implementation
